Other popular shopping areas include the Spouting Horn Shops, Old Koloa Town, the Kukui Grove Center, Eleele, and the Coconut Marketplace. Plantation Gardens — conveniently located on the resort property. Enjoy the beautiful Kiahuna setting, gourmet Pacific Rim, Italian and seafood. Across the street in the Poipu Shopping Village is: Keoki's Paradise — a soothing, lush, tropical setting, great food, and live entertainment most nights. They specialize in steaks and a large selection of fresh fish. You must try the Hula pie. Roy's Poipu Bar & Grill — a Roy Yamaguchi restaurant with Pacific rim cuisine, excellent presentation and atmosphere. Their signature dessert is Chocolate Soufflé. It is so good that they sell a soufflé kit to make at home. The Plantation House — dine amidst a quaint plantation setting; great for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. There are spectacular restaurants throughout Kauai; here are some of our favorites: Beach House Restaurant — located on Lawai Road toward Spouting Horn, it is a south shore landmark now affiliated with Jean-Marie Josselin; they serve outstanding Pacific rim cuisine, and incredible sunset views. Brennecke's Beach Broiler — on Hoone Road across from the Poipu Beach Park; they serve steaks and seafood with a great view of the beach and ocean (whales migrate just offshore). Camp House Grill — located in Kalaheo on Hwy 50; they have wonderful ribs, hamburgers, and awesome homemade pies. It's a great place to grab a casual meal. Brick Oven Pizza — also in Kalaheo on Hwy 50, is the best pizza on Kauai. Kalaheo Steak House — on Papalina Road in Kalaheo; they have great steaks, a local favorite. Gaylord's Restaurant — located on the grounds of an old plantation in Kilohana on Hwy 50 toward Lihue; they serve continental food, great atmosphere and presentation. Walk off your meal while exploring this charming old plantation. A Pacific Cafe — located in Kauai Village, Kapaa, near the green Safeway; this cafe offers Pacific Rim cuisine from the award winning Chef Jean-Marie Josselin, excellent food with exquisite presentation. The Hyatt Regency — Feast your eyes as well as your stomach at this luxurious resort's restaurant. Expansive Koi Ponds wind along tropical gardens, with a beautiful ocean view in the distance. The food is healthy California Cuisine, and it is very good.
